Recommended Sequence of Study
The Vedanta philosophy is ideally studied and imbibed in a structured, systematic sequence through daily study preferably between 5 am and 6 am for about an hour. After six decades of full time study and research, Swami A. Parthasarathy has written or commented upon the following ten books and has recommended they be studied in the following order:
- The Fall of the Human Intellect
- Governing Business & Relationships
- The Holocaust of Attachment
- Select English Poems
- Vedanta Treatise: The Eternities
- Bhaja Govindam: Seek the Eternal
- Atmabodha: Knowledge of Self
- Bhagavad Gita
- Choice Upanishads
- Thesis on God
You may get your copies, either physical or online, by clicking on this Amazon link or searching for the books on either the online Apple or Google stores. The Vedanta Treatise and Bhagavad GIta are also taught weekly by Gautamji, senior disciple of Swami A. Parthasarathy, online every weekend, for which you can register here.
Finally, the ideal way to study these books is to enroll in the e-learning course by Swamiji, where he has taught them all in detail to full-time Vedanta Academy students. You now have access to this entire material in the comfort of your home. Gautamji also conducts a weekly QA session on Wednesdays meant to address questions that e-learning students have from the course material. More information on the e-learning course and how to enroll
